The Stone Arch Bridge.

Iconic of Minneapolis and a beautiful place for engagement photos.  Getting there on a cold day where nothing is happening downtown is even better!  Less people to deal with and a completely free bridge and downtown area to walk around!

For Marisa and Nate, this was the perfect day!  They brought along their pooch and together we explored our favorite city!  I simply can not wait to photograph their November wedding, who knows, we may get a day just like this one, or one with temps in the 60’s!  Either way, I can not wait to document their day… you may also see their pooch making a debut there too!

    Allie and Joe:: A St. Cloud Engagement

    Being from the Brainerd lakes area, Allie, Joe, and I knew we had to find some place half way for both of us to meet for their St. Cloud engagement session.  Because they both love hockey (and played in high school) we knew we wanted to incorporate that into their winter engagement session.  So we chose a lake that was close to the downtown area and had been used for Hockey Day Minnesota the week before, Lake George.  The two showed off their skills to me as we shot on the ice and then headed over to a local park to finish off their session.  It was freezing cold outside, but Allie sported her cute navy and black dresses and braved the cold.  I love that we will be together for their June wedding and I know it will be MUCH warmer than this day!  I simply can not wait!!

      Katelyn and Ryan:: A Minneapolis Minnehaha Falls Engagement Session

      When Katelyn first called to chat about wedding photography and explained that they would be having their ceremony on the North Shore on a private boat in July, I was sure they were speaking my language and that we would be a great fit for one another.  Being from Michigan, the two wanted to replicate some of the things they loved about their state into their wedding day, so naturally being on Lake Superior was one of the ways they could incorporate their love for the water and their state!  They chose to have a winter engagement session near Minnehaha Falls.  The day was perfect and just after a beautiful Minnesota snowfall we got the perfect winter day they were hoping for!  I simply can not wait for their July wedding day, and all that it will bring!!

        Mike and Molly:: Centennial Lakes Engagement Session

        It was clear that when I met Mike and Molly I knew we would get along well.  Free flowing conversation, talk of loving summer and all around kind people, their winter engagement session was another indication of how well we got along.  They brought their sweet little Corkie, Fulton, and he only added to the fun of their winter engagement session.  I simply can not wait to see them again in August when it will be nice and HOT and we won’t be scrambling to get back into warm coats!!

          Unmapped Engagement Session:: Cyndi and Andy

          Beer, coffee, fizzing champaign, the Packers and a whole lotta love!  Witty and so fun to be around, Cyndi and Andy dared to go out in the Minnesota winter conditions and do their engagement session, and I am SO glad they did.  It was an incredible day where we incorporated some of the things they love while ending at Unmapped for beers and cards and we even go a little snow in the mix.  These two are just incredible people and I am so looking forward to spending their August day with them!
