Boating on the lake sounded wonderful to Christina. After many long, indoor hours of working at Von Marr, spending a hot summer day outside would be a treat. Andrew had been all over the state that week. His job forced him to be on the road throughout the dog days of summer as well, so when he was invited to spend an afternoon on the boat, he jumped on the opportunity. The two met there, and as they chatted the afternoon away with mutual friends a connection was made. And when Andrew mentioned his love of Corvettes and the one he was restoring, Christina knew it was fate for she too loved Corvettes, and even owned one. A deep friendship evolved and eventually Andrew popped the question.
Their wedding day was incredible both the ceremony as well as the late June weather. The couple chose not to see each other until walking down the aisle and Andre’s eyes wet wet as he saw his bride for the first time. A song that Christina’s grandmother sang to her husband on their wedding day was played in the ceremony and instead of doing a sand or unity candle, they chose a water ceremony. The weather stayed a consistent 80 degrees and the lighting was amazing as the two said their vows.
Thank you Chris and Andrew, it was a joy to spend your day with you! Congratulations!

Ahhh, the days of summer. The days are long, the nights are warm and the lighting is a-mazing! The day was perfect for Christina and Andrew as they tied the knot as was the venue! Here are some great vendors who helped make the day completely amazing! More to come tomorrow!

Blending two families, two dogs and five kids in their tweens is no easy task, but it is one that Robbin and Steve are up for and ready to tackle.
Winking on Match was the best thing Robbin could have done as Steve was the outcome. Being that she was out of his league, he sent her a kind e-mail replying, but didn’t seem interested. She took the hint and politely sent him a reply not thinking any more of it. But for some reason, Steve could not get Robbin out of his head, and replied back asking her for a date. She agreed and the two hit it off immediately as their sense of humor and wit was similar. The couple were ready to merge their lives together and on a June day with close friends and family in an intimate setting, vowed their love to one another and to their kids.
It was a joy to be a part of, thank you Robbin and Steve for allowing me to capture your special day, you are beautiful!

Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.

Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
