Maple Grove Senior Photos at Otsego Park :: Avery’s Class of 2026 Senior Session

There is something so special about senior year. It’s a season filled with excitement, big decisions, and looking ahead to what’s next. It was such a joy spending the evening with Avery as we celebrated this incredible milestone during her senior photo session at Otsego Park in Otsego, Minnesota.

As a senior at Maple Grove High School, Avery has spent countless hours on the volleyball court, and her passion for the sport shines through in everything she does. She’s not only an incredible athlete but also someone who brings so much joy and laughter wherever she goes. From the moment we started her session, her fun personality made every photo feel effortless and genuine.

After graduation, Avery hopes to continue playing volleyball at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in elementary education. I love hearing about my seniors’ dreams for the future, and I have no doubt she’ll make an amazing teacher who inspires young students while continuing to do what she loves on the volleyball court.

Why Otsego Park Is One of My Favorite Senior Photo Locations

If you’re searching for the perfect place for senior pictures in the northwest Twin Cities, Otsego Park is one of my favorite hidden gems. It offers such a beautiful variety of backdrops all in one location, making every gallery feel unique.

  • River views and peaceful scenery
  • Beautiful greenery that photographs well throughout the summer and fall

Otsego Park has so much to offer. It gives seniors a timeless, natural look while still providing plenty of variety without having to drive between multiple locations.

A Senior Session That Felt Like Home :: Class of 2027 Senior Photographer

One of my favorite things about senior photography is creating images that truly reflect each senior’s personality and the life they’ve built before graduation. While beautiful parks and downtown locations are always fun, sometimes the most meaningful backdrop is simply home.

Craig, a Class of 2027 senior from Amery High School, chose to have his senior session at his family’s property, and it couldn’t have been a better fit.

Craig is a true multi-talented student. During the school year, you’ll find him competing in football, basketball, and track, while also playing the saxophone in the marching band. Outside of school, he loves spending time golfing, fishing, and enjoying everything that comes with life outdoors.

As we wandered around the property, it quickly became clear why this place means so much to him. With horses grazing nearby, chickens roaming the yard, family dogs joining in the fun, and a peaceful lake just beyond the backyard, every stop gave us another glimpse into Craig’s story. It wasn’t just a beautiful location, it was a place full of memories.

Sessions like this are a reminder that your senior photos don’t have to happen at a popular destination to be unforgettable. Whether it’s your family’s lake cabin, a favorite fishing spot, a local park, a farm, or your own backyard, choosing a location that’s meaningful to you always creates photos that feel genuine and timeless.

Craig, thank you for inviting me to capture this exciting season of your life. It was such a pleasure getting to meet your family and explore a place that has clearly played such an important role in your life. I hope your senior year is filled with incredible memories, and I can’t wait to see all that you accomplish.

If you’re a Minnesota Class of 2027 senior looking for photos that feel like you, I’d love to help create a session that’s personal, relaxed, and filled with the places and activities that matter most. The best senior sessions tell your story, and there’s no better place to start than somewhere that feels like home.

Brayden :: Centennial High School Class of 2027

Senior year is such an exciting milestone, and it was so much fun spending the evening with Brayden as we celebrated the beginning of his final year at Centennial High School.

I’ve had the privilege of photographing Brayden over the years, so this senior session was especially meaningful. Watching the families I serve grow over time is one of the greatest joys of being a photographer, and it’s always an honor to capture these once-in-a-lifetime moments.

Brayden is an avid soccer player and a member of the Centennial High School Class of 2027. Looking ahead, he’s hoping to pursue a career in business, and I can’t wait to see where that journey takes him.

We chose downtown Wayzata for his senior session, and it’s easy to see why it’s one of my favorite places for senior photos in Minnesota. The variety of scenery is hard to beat. In one evening, we were able to photograph by the shores of Lake Minnetonka, in open grassy areas, and throughout the charming downtown streets filled with beautiful buildings and classic architecture. It offers so many different looks without ever feeling rushed.

Brayden brought such a relaxed, genuine personality to his session, making it easy to capture images that truly reflect who he is during this exciting season of life.

Congratulations, Brayden! I hope your senior year is filled with incredible memories, success on the soccer field, and excitement as you begin planning for everything that comes after graduation. I know you have an exciting future ahead.

If you’re looking for a location that offers lake views, open fields, and an urban downtown feel all in one place, downtown Wayzata is an amazing choice for your senior pictures. It’s one of the most versatile locations in the Twin Cities and perfect for creating a senior gallery that’s as unique as you are.

If you’re a Class of 2027 senior, now is the perfect time to start planning your senior session. I’d love to help you create photos that you’ll look back on for years to come.

Hopkins High School Senior Photos :: Wyatt’s Class of 2027 Senior Session

Senior year is finally here, and it was such a privilege to celebrate this exciting milestone with Wyatt, a member of the Hopkins High School Class of 2027!

Wyatt is a pitcher for the Hopkins High School baseball team, and you can immediately tell he loves being active and spending time outdoors. When he’s not on the baseball field, you’ll find him fishing, boating, or enjoying a day on the lake with friends pretty much everything that makes a Minnesota summer so memorable.

One of the highlights of Wyatt’s summer was traveling to Italy through a culinary arts program. During his time abroad, he immersed himself in the local culture, explored new cities, and experienced incredible food, even making his way into Spain. It’s such a unique experience to have before beginning senior year, and I’m sure it’s a trip he’ll never forget.

Despite scheduling his senior session on one of the hottest days of the summer, Wyatt never complained. He was easy to talk to, relaxed in front of the camera, and made the entire session enjoyable from beginning to end. Those are always my favorite sessions—the ones where we simply get to have fun while capturing who someone truly is.

After graduation, Wyatt hopes to attend college and pursue a career as a pilot. He’s currently considering schools like Auburn University and Purdue University, and I can’t wait to see where life takes him next.

One of the most meaningful parts of being a senior photographer is watching families return over the years. I photographed Wyatt’s sister’s senior portraits two years ago, so getting the opportunity to work with their family again was incredibly special. Seeing siblings come back for their own senior sessions is one of the greatest compliments I could ever receive.

Looking for Hopkins High School Senior Photos for the Class of 2027?

If you’re a Class of 2027 senior or a parent beginning the search for senior photos now is the perfect time to start planning your session. Your senior portraits should feel like you. Whether your favorite place is on the baseball field, by the lake, in downtown Minneapolis, or somewhere completely unique, we’ll choose a location that reflects your personality and tells your story.

The goal is simple: create timeless images that celebrate who you are during one of the biggest milestones of your life while making the experience fun, relaxed, and memorable.

I’ve had the joy of photographing Madalyn through different seasons of her life, so getting to capture this milestone before her senior year at Centennial High School was incredibly special. Within just a short walk, you can find the beautiful shoreline of Lake Minnetonka, open grassy fields, charming downtown streets, colorful storefronts, and timeless architecture. The variety of backdrops makes every gallery feel unique while giving seniors so many different looks during one session.

Madalyn’s joyful personality made the entire evening so much fun. She was full of laughter, easy to talk to, and completely herself in front of the camera. Those authentic moments are always my favorite to capture.
