For the past 2 weeks I have been crazy busy, which is a very good thing! In this past week I had 8 shoots alone and 1 wedding. Here are some of the awesome families that I was able to photograph. More posts to come as time allows!

My baby sister lives in Rochester, MN (about 90 miles south of the Cities). Today she brought up her kiddos for a visit for all the cousins to play together. My youngest nephew, is also 6 months, so she brought up some little cutie outfits for the kids to tromp around in. Unfortunately it was SUPER cold out today and the kids lasted about 20 mins, max. Here are a few shots we got from my parent’s neighbors yard. (She is an AMAZING gardener and decorator. I am planning on revisiting the site for my kids later this month I was so inspired!)

It is always a joy and an honor to be a part of a family ‘s milestone moments and to be able to capture those events for them. Beautiful Ashlyn was baptized in the same church as her mother Shannon was baptized in, making it a memorable moment for all involved. The entire family showed their love for the family and for Ashlyn. I was able to be there for the actual baptism as well as capture a few family photos after the ceremony.
And Ashlyn had it. The end of an eventful day. Isn’t she beautiful?

The baptism shoot was amazing – great lighting – great fall colors. Oh, and the adorable baby doesn’t hurt! 🙂
There is no other time in Minnesota that the light looks as it does in these next 2 months, golden and beautiful! The Schroeder family got one of the best nights yet for their family photo. Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder will be celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, so Judy called for a celebration of photos! I was totally up for the challenge of taking on these 6 kids! They all did fabulous and the evening up beautifully.

Stephanie and I went to high school together over 10 years ago! About a month ago she e-mailed to find out if I had a time to schedule their family session because her father had just recently been diagnosed with cancer. 
We were able to get through almost the entire shoot without any tears, but as her father was cracking jokes left and right, Steph’s mom just put an arm around her husband, and they fell. Thank you for allowing me this small window into a huge part of your world.

Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.

Spring soirée perfection.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
