Jennie and I grew up together and went to high school together. We had bonfires together, went to high school sports together, and laughed (a lot) together. It was an honor that her husband Henry asked if I would photograph their extended family as a Mother’s day gift to Jennie.
We met at my favorite park in Edina where I was able to meet Henry’s sister and her kids. They were all so kind, and we had so much fun in the park together. I look forward to more shoots with the Jimenez family.
There is never a lack of fun when seeing the Olson Family. Sweet little Zoe, only two years old, has the ability to charm anyone. She was continuously making us laugh and entertaining her six month old brother, Gus. Photographing families like the Olson‘s through the years bring me so much joy. I love watching their kids grow up and their personality grow and change. I can’t wait to see them again this fall.
Lindsey and I met years ago in a moms group. Then she and her family moved overseas to be missionaries. We reconnected this year and she reached out for a family session. She told me to be prepared because there would be a lot of children, but when we got together, this group was anything but a dull or overwhelming!
Having teenagers and being the parents of teenagers isn’t always easy but it sure is fun and there’s always an element of surprise!
It was so fun hanging out with this beautiful family as they celebrate the graduation of their oldest and get ready to go back overseas, leaving her here to start her career path! Morgan family, you are amazing and I wish you all the best and many blessings as you continue forward in the work God has given you.
It was a mere 6 months ago that I was with Calen and Tom meeting Tate for the first time. It’s incredible the amount of growth that happens within the first year! This time around Tate looked way more like a big kid and was smiling, rolling, sitting and babbling away. He was incredible for his session and I can not wait as he continues to grow!
We found a cute and quaint studio in Maple grove that was filled with lush decor and even a beautiful floral instillation. It was the perfect space for Tate’s six month photos!
Now that things are starting to open back up and vaccinations are making it easier to see friends and family, why not consider an extended family photo?! I was able to photograph the sweet Riley extended family as they gathered together to celebrate the life of their grandmother. A beautiful day gave the opportunity to gather together to celebrate, remember and get a large photograph together. I love doing these sessions (especially when the weather cooperates), and family is able to be together. Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.

Spring soirée perfection.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
