Noerenberg Gardens :: Wayzata Family Photographer

There’s something magical about summer in Minnesota, and the Flagger family’s photo session at Noerenberg Gardens in Wayzata captured that magic perfectly. Between the vibrant green grass, blooming gardens, and the sparkling backdrop of Lake Minnetonka, this session was the definition of summer beauty.

Noerenberg Gardens is one of my favorite hidden gems in the Twin Cities area. Located right on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, it features manicured gardens bursting with color, tall trees that give just the right amount of dappled light, and peaceful lake views that create a calming and beautiful environment for your family photos.

The Pfleghaar family took full advantage of the golden evening light during their weeknight session, and it truly shows in every image. One of the best parts about summer family sessions is that everyone is sun-kissed, glowing, and relaxed—there’s a carefree energy that only summer can bring. From bare feet in the grass to wind gently moving through the flowers, everything about this session reflected the joy of the season.

What is a Mini Session?

A Mini Session is one you are probably more familiar with and if you have booked with me in the past, the same mini session you are used to. It is still a shorter session than a full one, but it’s longer and more flexible than a petite. These sessions are a bit longer and If you want a bit more time for connection, multiple backgrounds, or a pet, this is your go-to.

Lyndale Park :: Minneapolis Family Session

Springtime in Minneapolis is nothing short of magical, and there’s no better place to experience this than Lyndale Park. Nestled in the heart of the city, this stunning park becomes a vibrant oasis as the tulips come into full bloom. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Laura and her wonderful family in this picturesque setting on a beautiful spring evening.

As a family photographer, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a family come together in such a joyful and relaxed manner. Laura’s three children were an absolute delight to photograph. Their infectious laughter and playful energy brought an added layer of warmth to the already enchanting evening.

Lyndale Park, with its sprawling gardens and tranquil lakeside views, provided the perfect backdrop for our session. The tulips, in their vivid array of colors, were in full bloom, adding a splash of vibrancy and a touch of whimsy to each photograph. The golden hour light, soft and warm, wrapped around Laura and her family, creating a serene and almost ethereal atmosphere.

As a family photographer, there’s nothing more rewarding than reconnecting with past clients and witnessing their families grow. Recently, I had the pleasure of doing just that with the Michaelson family during a beautiful golden hour session at Arneson Acres in Edina. This stunning park provided the perfect backdrop for capturing the joy and love of this wonderful family.

The Michaelson family’s toddler was a bundle of energy, spunk, and hilarity, keeping everyone entertained and on their toes.
