She knows me probably the best of all my friends. She is extremely supportive, caring, loving and knows exactly what I need (Reeces, coffee and hugs!) to keep me going through the day. I hope for you, reading this, you have someone like her in your life. A friend that is a true blessing. Laura is that woman to me. And photographing her sweet family is another a joy that brings my heart so much happiness.
This weekend after we visited with family, we headed home to spend some time with friends finding a Christmas tree. Our first time scouring a farm for that great tree reminded me of the Griswold family stomping through the cold with freezing fingers on the hunt for the “perfect tree!” Although we did not tramp through the freezing forests in blowing snow and freezing hands, we did find the perfect tree! We had a blast with friends drinking hot cider, eating Christmas sausage, warming ourselves by the fire, and riding on a covered wagon too. An experience far from the Griswold, but much more enjoyable!

I got to see this cutie and her family this weekend. I photographed her last year as a newborn, and how much fun it is to see this sweetie as a big one year old and celebrate her birthday early with her and her family!
Three cats, three girls, some land, one summer night and a lot of fun! This sweet family blessed me with their kindness, love and affection. We had a wonderful evening roaming their property and photographing their joyful life!

Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.

Spring soirée perfection.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
