Oh this session was such a fun one to participate in! I did Kelly and Brian’s wedding a few year ago and when they told me that me that they were expecting, I was thrilled to be able to photograph their announcement! Congratulations Kelly and Brian, I am so very excited for you!!
A few years back I had the joy of photographing Marisa and Nate’s beautiful snowy wedding day, then when Marisa emailed to say they were expecting, I was overjoyed! I was able to do their maternity session just as the spring blooms were starting to fall and Miss Emily was born not long after.
She was a joy to photograph during her session, and I am just so sure, that she will continue to be a sweet, sweet baby as she grows.
Nate and Marisa, congratulations. Emily is beautiful and I can not wait to see all of you again soon!
Finally the weather warmed and I was able to photograph Zach and Sam and their new little one. Sam’s red off the shoulder dress was perfect against the beautiful winter backdrop. A perfect winter day allowed us the photograph this beautiful maternity session.
I simply can not wait for sweet Elijah to be born, not only for his parents, but for me as a neighbor to watch this little one grow up! I’m so excited!!
Heading out to a field in the fall is one of my favorite things, and with one of my favorite couples, Emily and Neil, even better! We took Ethan’s maternity photos in this same field, only in the middle of a snowstorm which ended up being some of my very favorites! What an utterly perfect day this was!
I was so excited to get the e-mail from Luke that they were expecting baby number 3! A perfect winter day, I met the Hoffman family at a park in Maple Grove to document Leah before their newest addition arrives in the next few weeks. Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.

Spring soirée perfection.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
