I love the city. I love Chicago. And I love this family. Visiting Chicago means visiting this wonderful family and this time around, I was photographing their newest addition due this winter.
Part 2 of this awesome included their 18 month old son, Max. He was as sweet as ever and rockin out the bright green suspenders!!
I love it when clients are open to trying new ideas! I brought Lauren and Wade to the 101 Market this spring to do some maternity photos of their long awaited twins (which I get to photograph this weekend!!). This is just part one of this maternity session because we added their 18 month old to make it a family session later in the evening!

The Nagel’s are near to my heart! Their February wedding was just stunning and they braved the cold and snow to get some beautiful photos! Next month they are expecting their first little girl! I was thrilled to see them again and capture the beauty of this beautiful stage!
I am always thrilled to find out when friends are having babies, and Angie is no different! I have been photographing her family from when they first had Nora, then on to Levi, and now to this next sweet baby! I have been able to watch their family grow and change over the years which has been a huge blessing. When Angie asked if I could do her possibly last maternity session, we knew we had to try for something different and fun. After re-scheduling, no joke, 3 times because of the spring monsoons, we were finally able to get a day that was sunny and free of showers! Here are a few from our fun session together!!

Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.

Spring soirée perfection.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
