I had the honor of photographing Mike and Nicki’s wedding a few years ago, so you can imagine how excited I was when they asked if I would do a mini session of their first son. Born in the spring, we had to capture him among the blooms of the season.
Just as the trees had begun raining their beautiful, fragrant blooms to the earth, we captured the newness of life as it also came to the earth!
What a blessing to see families like the Franks throughout so many wonderful seasons of life!

The sweetest baby girl was born into a family of boys and I just love how her momma embraced it! Sutton was the perfect little baby for her session and slept almost the entire time, except when we changed her into her adorable outfits!
The nursery that Shannon decorated for her was based on the beautiful painting that hung over her changing table and all the colors from the painting came alive in the curtains, blankets, pillows and decor.
I loved the way it was all brought together through all the magenta, mauves and creams. I look forward to many more sessions with this sweet family!
Seeing the sweet Olson family made me so incredibly happy!. It was a perfect day for their family session and little Zoe, with her sweet grin, made the photos all worth it!
We made our way through the forest and then to the field, laughing all the way! What a great joy it was to see them all again!
I have had the privilege to photograph Christi and Kyle’s wedding day, and now the birth of their sweet son London. He was incredible to sleep almost the entire session. I was smitten with the closet nursery that his parents created for him that was both quaint and perfect for this tiny human. Christi’s artfulness in creating this space was one of the best things I have ever seen. I hope to continue to watch this little man grow and change through the years!

Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.

Spring soirée perfection.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
