A few years back, we did Gina and Steve’s engagement session in this same park, and what fun it was to come back and do a family session here with their son! It is always a gift to see this sweet family, and this time around was even more fun as Bently found the water so much fun!!
I am loving my one year old sessions these days. So many sweet families like the Young family!Sarah came to me with a few ideas, and they did not disappoint! We had a perfect June evening and even a four leaf clover! What a perfect night!

I met Dawn when her sweet Ben was a little over 2 and photographed Matthew when he was a newborn. Such sweet kiddos and a family, I love watching them grow and change through the years!
Tammy and I met through her sister and my good friend. I was able to photograph their family years ago when their kids were young, but she was in need of an updated family photo. A mini session was the perfect choice for them! Photographing big kids is amazing, they are sweet, kind and really easy to get smiling!

I have know Rachel for years and back when she was in high school even did her senior photos! When she got engaged to Jared, I not only did their engagement session but their Illinois wedding!
Two years ago, sweet Naomi was born and I met this Indiana family in Wisconsin to do family photos and newborn photos of Naomi.
Last summer their family came up and we celebrated Naomi’s first birthday.
We celebrated and this year, Rachel and Jared welcomed sweet Wrigley into their family!

Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.

Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
