It is the week of babies! Shannon and Keith welcomed Brooklyn into their lives in October. I was so fortunate to be able to capture her teenyness and dainty features. She is adorable!!

She is perfect. Perfect fingers. Perfect toes. Perfect nose. Perfect. It never ceases to amaze me to photograph babies. I love their teenyness and their beautiful perfectness. Caleigh was no exception. She is perfect.
When you sleep on a nursing home floor in the middle or New York City together, you grow tight bonds with people! Kirstjen, Josh, my husband Kevin and I all went to college together. We thought we knew each other well, but it wasn’t until we all flew out to NYC to Kirstjen’s sister Shannon’s wedding that we got to know each other even better!! While driving home from the wedding with her parents, a huge storm blew in causing a power line to go down at the home we were staying in. Police had deemed the road impassable and the home dangerous because of the live power lines. A relative of Keith’s worked at the nursing home, so she hooked us up with a place to wait out the storm and hopefully get into the home we were staying in within a few hours. A few hours turned into a very long, hilarious and memorable night. One that I will never forget and one that makes it so much fun to see the Peters family!

JP and Audra are kind, caring, generous and completely down to earth. I just love spending time with them and am thankful for clients like them turned friends. Our session was me against the light. We didn’t have much to work with, but we got in some great shots of this beautiful family!

Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.

Spring soirée perfection.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
