Toddlers and their great love for their stuffed toys. It makes photographing them even more fun, and this sweet family was no different!! What a joy it was to meet you all and photograph the great oof the fox!!

It is one thing to hear of a soldiar leaving to go overseas for a year, it is another to know him and his family. The Schuts have been long time clients/ friends of mine and last winter when I did their maternity session they told me the news that Nate would be leaving to go overseas not long after his first son was to be born. My heart ached for both of them as well as for their kiddos. Throughout the year, I was able to photograph their son and how he grew and hear about how things were going. Thankfully the year passed and that spring day arrived when Nate walked off the plane to greet his family again and to finally be able to hold them all again. It was an honor and joy to be able to capture this moment in time for them. And for all who serve or who have family that do, we are so BLESSED by your sacrifices. Thank you!!

Love, love, love this family!! When I received word that a new baby boy would be added to this family I was overjoyed. Not only is he blessed by amazing parents, his extended family is just as amazing!! I met the Green’s in studio for some photos of all of them and baby Wes only a week old!! Can’t wait to watch him grow along side his brothers!!

Last night we had NOTHING going on. That is a pretty crazy thing. Between all of our schedules, it is hard to come by. My oldest suggested we go to a park together and take photos because she most lovingly admonished me in her sweet nine year old voice that I am constantly taking photos of other people’s families, and not of them. As much as I hated to agree with her, she had a point, so we scoped out some BEAUTIFUL blossoming trees and took photos. It was today as I was looking through them all, and as I contemplate the end of another school year, that my kids are growing us SO STINKIN fast!! I remember having so many people tell me how fast it goes, and they were right!! I am thankful to be on to this next stage in their lives, but there are days I would’t mind having them all around to snuggle with, nap with, tottle with and explore the big world with. If you are in that stage of life where your kiddos are small and you are struggling with wondering if they will ever move on and get to the next _____ (you fill that blank in), let me assure you, it WILL come, and VERY fast!! So today, enjoy every minute of it.

Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.
Welcome to the world, sweet girl
Spring soirée perfection.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
Congratulations, Rob and Sarah!
